Academics Rules

ATTENDANCE RULES
A. Collegiate Candidates: Students are required to attend at least at 75% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session and then they will be eligible to appear at the University Examination.
B. Non-Collegiate Candidates: The students whose percentage of class attendence is 60% and above but below 75% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be treated as non-collegiate candidate. They be sent up to the university examination if their short percentage is condoned by the university authority.
C. Dis-Collegiate Candidates: The candidate whose percentage of class attendence falls below 60% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be treated as dis-collegiae candidate. They will not be eligible to appear at the university examination. Then may take re-admission.
The claim for retaining the Hons. subject of a student will stand cancelled without any notice if the attendence of such students of first year Hons. Classes of the first thirty teaching days falls below 75% in the particular Hons. subject concerned.

SESSION
The academic session starts from 1st July of the year and ends on the 30th June of the following year.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Students are to maintain strict rules and regulations and discipline in and around the college campus. They should maintain the healthy atmosphere of the college and coordial relationship among the students, teachers, non-teaching staff and the college authority concerned. Any type of misconduct and violation of the rules and regulations of the college is subject to fine and punishment. They should attend their classes regularly and any sort of absence would be duly informed to the Principal in advance. They should pay their fees in due time, otherwise, fine as fixed by the college would have to be paid.
