Our society has historically subjected women to systematic oppression solely based on their gender. This enduring discrimination denies women equal access to resources and opportunities, thereby sowing seeds of societal discord. Gobinda Prasad Mahavidyalaya, embracing coeducation, has long championed the cause of gender parity. We hold the conviction that societal progress is attainable only when all genders collaborate harmoniously.

Our commitment lies in nurturing women’s sense of self-determination and fostering the comprehensive development of their personas. We entrust them with leadership positions across various domains and committees within Gobinda Prasad Mahavidyalaya. To promote widespread gender awareness among students, educators, and staff, we conduct an array of activities including lectures, seminars, video tutorials, counselling sessions, and guest lectures. The college regularly showcases the ascension of influential women across diverse fields. Women are encouraged to voice their indirect experiences with adversity, and their insights and recommendations are met with due regard. The Women’s Cell tirelessly strides towards a society that is both safer and more just.
