GENERAL RULES FOR LIBRARY

• Library remains open from 10 am to 5 pm
• Students have to collect their Library Cards on submission of fees receipt books and a passport size photograph.
• Honours’ students can avail max. 3 books and pass students max. 2 books at a time for 15 days only.
• Late return fine will be charged at the rate of 50 paise for every defaulting day.
• Condition of Books: any wear and tear should be brought to the notice of the issuing authority.
• Duplicate Library card will be issued only by charging Rs. 5/- as a fine.
• Students have to renew their library cards after taking admission in every year.
• Library clearance certificate will be issued only after test examination on submission of books and cards.

RULES FOR TEACHING & NON-TEACHING STFF

• All staff can use the library during library hours.
• All are requested to keep their bags in the particular place before entering the stack room.
• Record of teacher-student interaction in the library is to be maintained.
• Teachers are allowed to issue max. 10 books for 90 days only.
• Non-teaching staff are allowed max. 5 books for 45 days only.

RULES FOR READING ROOM

• Reading room remains open from 10 am to 5 pm
• To take seat in this room students have to sign in the register mentioning their roll no., class and time.
• No book will be issued for home from reading room.
• To avoid disturbance students have to keep their bags in a particular place.
• Open access system, searching books on computer and internet facility are available for students and staff.
