Departmental Library Rules
1. Library Timings: The library will be open from 11:00 AM to 4: 00 PM on all working days. It will remain closed on Sundays and public holidays.
2. Membership: Only students and faculty of the department are eligible to borrow books. A valid ID card must be presented for borrowing and returning books.
3. Borrowing Limits: Undergraduate students may borrow up to 2 books for a period of 10 days.
4. Book Renewal: Books may be renewed once if there is no demand for them. Renewals must be done in person before the due date.
5. Care of Books: Books should be handled with care. Any damage or loss of a book must be reported immediately, and the borrower will be responsible for replacement or compensation.
6. Conduct in the Library: Silence must be maintained at all times. Mobile phones should be switched to silent mode. Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the library.
7. Return of Books: All borrowed books must be returned before the end of each semester. Failure to do so may result in withholding of final grades or certificates.
8. Compliance: All users are required to comply with the library rules. Failure to do so may result in suspension of library privileges.
